Without ruining too much of the storyline, I will say that events lead to you being forced to leave the vault for the first time. As you stumble into the blinding light of Washington D.C.'s Capital Wasteland, your adventure truly begins. In your quest to find your father, you will traverse the wasteland that was once the greater D.C. area while exploring settlements, ruins, and the general wreckage that was once a thriving society.

Fallout 3
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13192711699789475328noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3041263000917456925.post-33043721324839261882009-04-24T19:57:00.000-05:002009-04-24T19:57:00.000-05:00Prince of Persia wasn't a role playing game.Prince of Persia wasn't a role playing game.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17780718085054320931noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3041263000917456925.post-75311941013307261442009-04-24T11:56:00.000-05:002009-04-24T11:56:00.000-05:00Just thought it was incredibly relevant, but the n...Just thought it was incredibly relevant, but the new DLC for Fallout 3 (Broken Steel) totally rewrites the ending, and after you "finish" the quest in it, there is no "ending." It just stays open-ended.

Apparently, the developers got so much negative feedback from the original ending that they literally said, "Ok! Ok! We get it! No more endings!"

I wouldn't mind a "and everyone lived happily ever after" or "and the wasteland was f***ed" ending, just so long as you could keep playing.

Prince of Persia did this VERY well. *THAT* is the way to do a "conclusive" ending for a sandbox game.Taylorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09879311453029083885noreply@blogger.com
